Maximize space, the art of harmonizing colors
Besides storage, the choice of colors is very important in optimizing the space in a living room. The rule is simple. Too many dark colors provide a feeling of tightness in your living rooms. In turn, the bright colors provide a sense of space savings. The living room is a meeting place and conviviality, it is necessary to ensure there some freedom of movement. For example you can paint the walls of the room in yellow chick, with an underbody dark brown. Choose bright green color for ceilings. For soil, choose warm colors like bright red or garnet.
You can also use the rule of 60 – 30 – 10 for the harmonization of all colors in your living rooms. For a room which is to optimize the space, the light color of your choice must cover 60% of the room, the dark, 30%. The remaining 10% for furniture and decorative accessories. Redeem just the coverage rate between dark and light color when it comes to shrink space. The color of furniture should be based on that of your walls, your ceiling and your floor, or vice versa. Try also carefully storing the furniture in each room. Not deceived decorative accessories.
Optimize space, light fixtures to the rescue
More than lighting fixtures, light fixtures are decorative pieces in their own right. In addition to the decor, they also play an important role in optimizing space. The wall sconces and ceiling fixtures do not clutter the living rooms. They are at their right place in the office, in the kitchen or in the bathroom. The choice of the bulb depends on the amount of brightness you want for each room. The fluorescent bulb provides ambient temperature. The halogen light prevents a too intense. The two light sources agree, however, to a room with a large dominance of bright colors, hence the feeling of space savings.
